David towards the end of his life - part 2

As noted in part 1, of course, David was a murderer but not as a criminal.  I cannot hold this against him because he carried out these executions as either a warrior (Goliath) or as king.  Who can stand against the king?

One thing should be clear.  He also tried to kill Uriah for selfish reasons, and behold, the Lord was not pleased with it (though he was not an Israelite) and the consequences were real, unbearable, and were carried out right before David's eyes.

David reaped the consequences for this murder (and adultery with Uriah's wife), full and well.
